Please be informed that the NAPTIN 2022 Technical Bid Opening, earlier slated to take place on Monday 11th July, as contained in our advertisement, has now been rescheduled to Wednesday, 13th July 2022 by 12:00 noon due to the Federal Government declaration of Mon 11th & Tue 12th as Public holidays. The venue and time still remain the same.

GIZ THROUGH WAPP PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR NAPTIN ONLINE TRAINING.

As part of its continuous support to the West African Power Pool and its Stakeholders, the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit(GIZ) GmbH of Germany provides Laptop Computer Systems to bolster on line training programme of the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria(NAPTIN).
The Computer Equipment, which include: 3 HP ELITEBOOK 840GB NOTEBOOK PC, 3 Logitech H600 wireless handset and 3 ethernet cables 3m were presented by Engr.AbdulAziz the Managing Director of Transmission Company of Nigeria(TCN) and the current Chairman of West African Power Pool(WAPP), to the Director General of NAPTIN Mr.Ahmed Bolaji Nagode in a ceremony at the Transmission Company of Nigeria(TCN), Headquarters, recently.
While appreciating the laudable gesture, the Director General of NAPTIN, Mr.Ahmed Bolaji Nagode thanked GIZ and West African Power Pool for providing the equipment to NAPTIN and he assured them that they will be used for the purpose they were provided for.

National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN) has received funds from Agence Française de Développement ("AFD") toward the cost of “Enhancing Vocational Training Delivery for the Power Sector in Nigeria”, and it intends to apply part of the funds to payments under the contract: Design & Build of 1x1MVA 0.415/33KV, 1x1MVA 33/11KV and 1x1MVA  33/132KV Training Substations on a 603,778sq.mt site and an MV/LV Trainining Pole Yard on a 647,612sq.mt site at their Abuja HQ. The Employer intends to initially select a maximum of 6 firms for the Design & Build of the Substation and Pole Yard. It is expected that invitations for bid will be made in March/April 2022.

Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information from National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (address below) between 9:00am – 4:00pm WAT on workdays.

Applications for initial selection should be submitted in clearly marked envelopes and delivered to the address below by 12:00 WAT on Monday, 4th April 2022. Late applications will be rejected.

NAPTIN CERTIFIED AS AN ISO ORGANIZATION

In August 2019, NAPTIN commenced the process of implementing a Quality Management System (QMS) toward achieving an ISO certification. NAPTIN has concluded all requirements and has been certified as a QMS-ISO 9001:2015 organization in February 2022 by the Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON).
