There is indication that no fewer than ten graduates of The National Power Training Institute of Nigeria, NAPTIN will benefit from the new recruitment of three hundred graduates into the Borno State Civil Service.

The Borno State, Governor Kashim Shettima gave the approval for the recruitment while presenting certificates to ten youths sponsored by the state government for one year course in electricity generation, distribution and transmission under the NAPTIN Graduate Skill Development Programme, NGSDP at the NAPTIN Training Centre.

This laudable gesture, according to the Acting Director General of the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria, NAPTIN, Ahmed Bolaji Nagode gives credence to the quality of training and graduates churned out by the Institute across the country.

He therefore urged other State Governments to emulate the Borno State Government’s gesture to ensure that human resources are properly deployed and that young engineers of their states are empowered to become future drivers of the Nigerian Power Sector. This, he believes will help to further develop the nation’s power sector.

The National Power Training Institute of Nigeria, NAPTIN operates nine training centres across the country, offering fifty technical and non-technical courses.
